Session cookie

This article presents an example of a session cookie file (whose lifetime is in principle limited to the duration of a visit on the site). This file is created by the WooCommerce plugin, which allows you to add online shop functionalities to this site developed with WordPress.

The WooCommerce session cookie file expires two days after it is created. WooCommerce apparently considers that a session can last up to two days. This is probably to give visitors the opportunity to resume their session where they left off two days earlier…

The WooCommerce session cookie is stored locally on the machine of the person visiting the data-driving.shop website, if their web browser does not block cookies.
